Getting Your Tattoo

The way Alvin works is to arrange a consultation with you so he can discuss your ideas, style, size and placement of the tattoo. When he

knows all this he can quote you a price and the number of sessions required. He can also answer any questions and allay any concerns you may have. Have an idea what you want for your tattoo. If you are happy to go ahead he can then book you an appointment.

Your First Appointment

During your appointment - or first session - the design will be drawn on freehand and adjusted until you are happy. The finished tattoo will therefore depend on several things, including your input and feedback on the day. So, you can guarantee your new tattoo will be a one-off.

By Appointment Only

All tattooing is by appointment.  When you are ready to get tattooed, get in touch and he will book you a consultation (it's only 10 - 15 minutes). If you are travelling some distance mention this when you call and he may be able to do the consultation by phone.

SEND THE Alvin A DEPOSIT $$ You are asking Alvin to work with you, and booking some of his precious money making time.  but if you are serious about your work, this should not be an issue. DO NOT FLAKE ON YOUR APPOINTMENT! If you absolutely have to cancel, respect Alvin enough to try to give him some notice–there are LOTS of other clients that would love that time, and might be able to fit in! A deposit covers Alvin's drawing and design time–if you no-show, that money IS NOT REFUNDED. SHOW UP FOR YOUR TATTOO TIME!
DESIGNING DEPENDS ON ALVIN. the process, the flow–DO NOT MICROMANAGE ALvin. The more free reign he is allowed, the better the work. You came to him because you like his style, right? TRUST Alvin.

THE DAY OF THE TATTOO- show up on time, with no other plans or restrictions (gotta pick the kids up from practice at 4? Don’t plan your tattoo that day, or get some help.) Eat something, no empty stomachs, and make sure to grab something to drink during the process. WATER OR JUICE, NOOOO BOOZE! You will bleed more, possibly sit poorly, and get light headed or pass out.  Sober sitting is always recommended.

BRING CASH. Alvin will give you a price or estimate beforehand, so there are no surprises or price misunderstandings. 

SIT STILL! Sometimes, that is the hardest part…

TIP YOUR TATTOO ARTIST! Do you live your new ink? Show him! Extra $$ is always nice, but gifts can also go a long way, appreciation is always remembered!
